Roebuck stalking or high-seat hunting with a professional guide in the beautiful Aggtelek region in the northeastern part of Hungary. Accommodation and rifle rental (if necessary) are provided. All levels are catered for.

We offer a 3-14 days roebuck hunting trip for professional or beginner hunters in the area near the Aggtelek National Park in Hungary. The trip includes everything you need, from comfortable and spacious accommodation to three meals per day. The hunting lodge in located in Felsőnyárád. The hunting area is 500 ha and consists of hilly areas that are covered in deciduous forests. 

Land & topography

The area lies in a limestone landscape and consists of small hills with temperate deciduous forest containing mainly oak species, but also maple, black locust, and poplar species. There are some open areas that are mainly used for agriculture. The area has two small streams. Near Felsőnyárád lies the beautiful Aggtelek National Park with its famous special surface formations and caves. Here, different tours and hikes in Hungarian's beautiful landscape can be taken. In addition, the village Rudabánya is known for the remains of the 12 million year old hominid and has the only iron ore mine in Hungary. Also, it has the deepest quarry in Hungary.

Event schedule

The hunting starts at sunrise and ends at sunset. According to your personal preference, before heading out in the morning, the hunt starts with some (warm) drinks and breakfast. During the day, lunch is provided. Every hunt ends with a gathering around a lovely bonfire with a delicious warm dinner, where you are open to story tell and share your hunting experiences and memories.

Hospitality

The accommodation is in the Malom guest house in Felsonyarad, and the meal is in one of the restaurants in the area.This ad is only valid for those staying in the Malom guest house. All types of roebuck can be hunted, there are no limitations. Rifles can be rented if needed. Also, if the situation occurs, wild boars and red foxes can be hunted as well, which is included in the price. Overall, we guarantee an enjoyable and memorable experience in the Hungarian style.
