Join us on an exclusive guided wild boar hunt in the area near the Aggtelek National Park in Hungary. Either hunting from a high-stand next to the maize field or stalking in the forest, we can assure that the possibilities are there. The trip can be 3, up to 7 days long. The hunting lodge is located in Felsőnyárád which is in a small and quiet village. The accommodation is comfortable and spacious and provides everything you need. The hunting area has a size of 10000 ha consisting of hills covered with beautiful Hungarian deciduous forests. With plenty of wild boar, professional and beginner hunters are all welcome. Rifles can be rented if necessary. Overall, we guarantee an enjoyable and memorable experience and a part of the Hungarian culture for you to take home.

Land & topography

The area lies in a limestone landscape and consists of small hills with temperate deciduous forest containing mainly oak species, but also maple, black locust, and poplar species. There are some open fields which are mainly used for agricultural purposes and provide a good habitat for wild boars as well. The area has two small streams.

Event schedule

Everything is possible. According to your personal preference, hunting can be either during the night or during the day. In the morning, the hunt starts with some (warm) drinks and breakfast. During the day, lunch is provided. At the end of the day, there will be a gathering around a lovely bonfire with a delicious warm dinner, where you are open to story tell and share your hunting experiences and memories.

Near Felsőnyárád lies the beautiful Aggtelek National Park which is famous for its special surface formations and caves. Here, different tours and hikes in Hungarian's beautiful landscape can be taken. In addition, the village Rudabánya is known for the remains of the 12 million year old hominid and has the only iron ore mine in Hungary. Also, it has the deepest quarry in Hungary which is worth to take a look at.
